Our third club night was such a success, and our biggest one yet.

Each month, I’m blown away by how this community continues to grow in an intentional and genuine way. New faces show up, familiar ones return, and together we fill the room with conversation and creativity. It’s a pleasure to host and lead these workshops for the creative writers of Salt Lake City, to sit beside people who’re eager to write, listen, and share (shout out to those who did!)

Every event reminds me how special this community and space are becoming.

I also want to give a huge thank-you to my friend (and fellow club member) Dakotah, who created beautifully themed bouquets for each table to enjoy and take home at the end of the evening if desired. You’ll be seeing more of her arrangements at future club nights, and potentially other local vendors as well—which might also mean pop-up CWC collabs.

As for next month, I’m excited to tell you that we will be taking a creative approach to the gratitude season by doing handwritten, wax-sealed letters to friends and family—stamps included. Guests will write letters to loved ones, choose their color of premium velvet envelope, and seal it with their choice of wax color and stamp design.

Guests can leave sealed letters to be sent off or take them home. We will be working with classical materials and live flame, so this is an 18+ event as normal.
